After graduation, my parents moved to San Antonio and I enrolled at Texas A&M, graduating in 1971. Got married to Jody the same year and enrolled in graduate school. I received PhD in organic chemistry in 1976. From there, it was a postdoctoral fellowship at Florida State University, work with Arco Chemical in PA, then to Exxon Chemical with assignments in Baton Rouge, Brussels Belgium, Singapore, and now Baytown Texas. Today, I am looking forward to retirement to our farm in Brenham Texas and spending more time spoiling my grandsons.
As an update, I got a little bored after a year into retirement and am now teaching a freshman Engineering class at Texas A&M University.
